Role Description

As an Endpoint & Workplace Specialist, you will hold a central position in the development of our digital workplace. The focus is on client and device management, where you ensure a stable, secure, and well-functioning user experience for the entire organization. The area is currently outsourced, and a central part of the role is to contribute to bringing the service in-house from an external provider and helping to build a strong internal capability.

A key part of the future work is the development of our endpoint environment, where we have already begun transitioning to modern client management with Intune. We are now taking the next step towards increased automation throughout the lifecycle and investigating new VDI solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Work with client and device management within Windows and mobile platforms throughout the entire lifecycle
• Further develop and manage our endpoint platform with a focus on Intune, driving automation and efficiency in areas such as client installation and management
• Work with application management, packaging, and distribution
• Contribute to a standardized and sustainable client environment through clear policies
• Further develop our VDI solution and other user-centric platforms
• Ensure a stable, secure, and easy-to-manage workplace environment

This is a role where you combine technical work in the platform with a responsibility to drive development and improvement over time. You will collaborate closely with the Service Owner for the area as well as other colleagues within Digital Workplace and IT Operations.

The position is located at Tekniska verken's headquarters in central Linköping.

Your Profile and Background

We are looking for you who have a strong foundation in endpoint management and client platforms, and who thrive in a role where you get to work close to the technology while contributing to developing and improving the whole. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have a natural drive to streamline and create sustainable ways of working.

We are looking for you who have:

• Several years of experience in endpoint management, with a focus on MDM platforms / Intune
• Good knowledge of the Windows client platform, mobile devices, and application management
• Experience with modern ways of working in device management, such as automation and lifecycle management
• Understanding of the digital workplace as a whole, including mobility, VDI, and related platforms

Experience with application packaging within M365 environments and SCCM is meritorious. Furthermore, fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing are required. As we are a security-classified operation, a background check will be conducted.
