We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer with a genuine interest in the automotive industry.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have 5+ years of experience in Functional Safety within the automotive industry, good communication skills, and the ability to communicate fluently in English (both speech and writing).

You are customer-oriented and eager to work in an international environment with diverse cultures. You possess strong analytical capabilities and a structured way of working.

Self-driven, flexible in a high-paced environment, and a team player are qualities that define you.

To succeed in this role, you have previous experience defining safety architectures and mechanisms to fulfill safety goals.

You have experience creating input requirements for FSR (Functional Safety Requirements) and TSR (Technical Safety Requirements), and you can lead the creation of safety concepts and implement these concepts in both hardware and software.

You will work in an agile environment, closely collaborating with the software development team as well as internal and external stakeholders.

Competence/skills

B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar. You should also have industrial experience in the following areas:

• Experience applying Functional Safety in the automotive sector.
• Experience with software development and application of ISO26262.
• Experience with software testing.
• Experience with HARA analysis.
• Experience establishing safety concepts.
• Experience leading and/or coaching teams.
• Experience with Matlab.
• Jira.
• Confluence.
• SAFe / Scrum.
