We are looking for a new Senior IT Operations Engineer to support our operations in Sweden and work as part of our Nordic team.

About the role

As a Senior IT Operations Engineer, you are responsible for supporting the technical infrastructure for our offices and production facilities in Sweden. You will have overall responsibility for advanced technical operations, including the administration of Windows servers, advanced network management, and Level 3 incident handling.

To ensure full operational continuity, the role combines strategic engineering work with operational, practical tasks such as hardware and software installation, as well as daily user support.

This is a dynamic and business-critical role suited for someone who thrives on variety and creative solutions to ensure a functional, stable, and efficient digital workplace for our employees.

Main responsibilities

• Infrastructure ownership: Maintain local IT infrastructure – including servers, networks, and physical IT systems.
• Senior-level escalation and troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for complex issues related to IT systems, hardware, software, and permissions.
• System administration: Manage cloud-based identity and workplace platforms.
• Monitoring: Proactively monitor systems to identify and resolve performance issues in a timely manner.
• Security and compliance: Ensure that all devices adhere to our security standards and internal policies.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure and support processes.
• Travel: Most tasks can be performed remotely, but some travel may be required to support our facilities in Sweden. We value face-to-face meetings and would like the team to be on-site at important occasions.

About you

To succeed in this role, you have strong collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach where you identify root causes and think creatively. You communicate actively with the team to create effective solutions together that ensure stable, secure, and well-functioning IT services.

• Experience: Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, or system administration.
• Networking: Practical experience in troubleshooting corporate networks and network equipment.
• Cloud services: Good knowledge of Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and their integrations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
