Job Description

We are looking for an AI & Embedded Systems Engineer with experience in telecommunications, AI/machine learning, and edge computing. The role involves developing embedded systems and software in Linux-based environments with a focus on C++ and Python, as well as working with modeling, simulation, and analysis of technical systems.

Experience with drone technology, autonomous systems, and scientific work is advantageous. The assignment involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, research actors, and industry partners, and requires good communication skills in both Swedish and English.

The person will be an important part of a growing research and development operation working on future automated and connected transport systems. The role is part of a development team working on research and development of test equipment, test methodology, and test environments for advanced transport solutions.

The client is a world-leading high-tech test and development center for research and development in active safety, connected, and automated transport systems. The operations offer unique physical and digital development environments to support and accelerate innovation in the field. The work is carried out in close collaboration with vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, authorities, research institutes, and universities both nationally and internationally.

Assignment Period: Start as agreed, approx. 1 year with possibility of extension
Location: Gothenburg, with some hybrid work options
Scope: Up to 100% full-time

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of practical experience from the telecommunications industry with understanding of technical solutions, development processes, and communication systems.
• Experience with AI and machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of practical experience in developing, using, or analyzing models and simulations of technical systems.
• At least 1 year of experience in software development in C++ and Python.
• Valid Swedish driver's license, category B or higher.
