We are now looking for an IT Operations Technician for an assignment with our client in Gothenburg, where you will work in a modern IT environment together with a team of technical specialists. The role suits you who want to work broadly within operations, servers, clients, and infrastructure.

About the role

As an IT Operations Technician, you are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of the client's IT environment. You work to ensure stable operation of systems and infrastructure and handle incidents, problems, and changes in the environment.

You will work closely with other technical teams and contribute to ensuring a stable and secure IT delivery to the business.

Responsibilities

• Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and handling of incidents in server and client environments
• Administration of Active Directory and user management
• Work in Microsoft 365 environments
• Installation, configuration, and patching of servers and clients
• Monitoring of systems and services to ensure stable operation
• Collaboration with other technical teams regarding incidents, changes, and improvements
• Documentation of solutions and technical routines

Your profile

We are looking for you who are technically curious and thrive in a role where you get to work both operationally and analytically. You have a structured approach and like to troubleshoot problems until you find a sustainable solution. You enjoy collaborating with other technicians and are happy to share your knowledge.

We would like you to have experience in several of the following areas:

• Experience working in IT operations or technical support
• Windows Server and client environments
• Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 / Azure / Entra ID
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Work with monitoring systems or case management systems
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)

It is an advantage if you have also worked with automation, patch management, or operations in larger IT environments.
