Job Description

In this role, you will become part of a cross-functional and agile product team where development and operations (DevOps) go hand in hand. You are expected to take on a versatile role, moving seamlessly between technical design discussions, dedicated development, and ongoing dialogues with product owners, colleagues, and management.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Modern Development: Develop and modernize microservices within a modern distributed architecture (.NET 9/10).
• Architecture: Work with event-driven design and message queues for robust data communication.
• DevOps Lifecycle: Contribute to the entire lifecycle – from architecture and test-driven development (TDD) to CI/CD pipelines and container-based operations.
• Culture & Collaboration: Collaborate agilely, share knowledge, and actively contribute to an inclusive work climate characterized by psychological safety, where problems are best solved together.

Technical Environment

• Code & Architecture: C#, .NET (version 9/10), TDD, Microservices, Event-driven architecture, MassTransit
• Runtime & Databases: Kubernetes (OpenShift), MS SQL Server, RabbitMQ
• CI/CD & Pipeline: GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD

Required Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years of experience as a developer specializing in .NET and C# (with a focus on the latest versions).
• At least 3 years of experience working with large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
• At least 1 year of experience in development related to payment solutions and transaction-intensive flows.
• At least 3 years of experience working in agile teams where tasks have included both development and operations management.
• Documented habit of a transparent working style where you are comfortable both giving and receiving constructive feedback to build a good and inclusive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Highly desirable if you have experience with DevSecOps processes and security standards according to PCI-DSS management.

• Start Date: 3/9/2026
• End Date: Long-term consulting assignment
• Scope: 100% (Full-time)
• Work Form / Location: Based in Gothenburg (or according to agreed hybrid arrangement)
