About Us

Volvo Cars is a company on a mission: to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable, and smart future. Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we are expanding our global footprint in Europe, China, and the US, and we are on the lookout for new talent. We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavor and create safe, sustainable, and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

Let's introduce ourselves

At Volvo Cars, we are committed to shaping the future of mobility. As our vehicles become increasingly software-defined, the way we structure, manage, and configure product information across the lifecycle is more critical than ever.

We are now looking for a Business Process Analyst (PLM) to join our Product Structure & Configuration team and help drive this transformation.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead PLM initiatives within the Product Configuration area — from concept to implementation. You will design and drive solutions that support the development and verification of software across all configurations in our product portfolio. Working in close collaboration with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, you will:

  • Architect scalable PLM solutions that manage increasing product and software complexity
  • Develop and refine processes and information flows across the full product lifecycle
  • Ensure high quality, precision, and timely delivery in cross-functional environments
  • Translate business requirements into structured, sustainable digital solutions
  • Support the evolution toward more software-driven product structures

You will play a key role in enabling how we build, configure, and verify the next generation of Volvo vehicles.

What you'll bring

You are analytical and structured, with a strong ability to navigate complexity. You combine technical depth with a collaborative mindset and take ownership from idea to implementation.

We believe you bring:

  • A BSc or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the automotive industry
  • At least 5 years of experience working with PLM-related business processes
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • A high level of accountability and delivery focus
  • Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with PLM tools and engineering processes within Volvo Cars (HW and SW) is considered a strong merit.
