Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking to work on qualified assignments within defense and industry? Do you want to support our customers in their challenges while developing yourself by working at the absolute forefront of technology? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

At Combitech in Trollhättan, we build teams focused on supporting our customers with comprehensive solutions within product development. Our intention is to carry out the majority of the work at our local office, but the consultancy role also involves assignments on-site at the customer's location. Through collaboration and competence development, we create an inclusive climate together where you, as a consultant, contribute to the development of both Combitech and our customers.

What the role entails

The responsibilities include working with requirements and requirements breakdown for complex systems, as well as comparing system alternatives by identifying, developing, and modeling. You will also serve as analytical support and technical leader during the development and verification phases. We offer the opportunity to develop within specific specializations of interest through long-term dialogue with your nearest manager. Perhaps you are interested in process and method development to support efficient system development combined with new technology, or in systems and their various application areas.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a receptive and analytical individual with the ability to identify needs and drive processes forward, with a focus on value and results. You should be accustomed to communicating and presenting to both customers and colleagues. You thrive on creating new relationships and are happy to share your knowledge.

You have approximately 10 years of work experience in system development and preferably have had a project management role or similar. You should have a relevant technical university degree, for example in computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. It is an advantage if you have participated in a complex product development project from concept to finished product. The assignments require good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
