Integration Specialist at Lerum Municipality

About the IT Department

The IT Department is a central unit within Lerum Municipality, consisting of 9 dedicated employees working in various specialist roles. The entire team collaborates closely with the entire administration to ensure that IT solutions support the municipality's operations in the best possible way. We strive to be an innovative and reliable partner that contributes to the municipality's development and efficiency.

Responsibilities

The IT Department is developing its operations and is looking for a driven and engaged C#/.Net developer to build system integrations on the Frends iPaaS platform.

As an Integration Specialist, you will drive development, manage, and implement automated processes within the municipality.

You will work closely with the municipality's external IT operations provider as a client/requirement setter in the integration and automation area, as well as providing support in dialogues between operations, IT operations, and system providers.

The role also involves managing the platform for RPA solutions and identifying new areas for automation.

You will be responsible for and coordinate integration projects, as well as building integrations between various operational systems within the municipality.

Qualifications

  • You have a university degree in systems science, IT, or an education we consider equivalent.
  • Meritorious experience with developing integrations on the Frends iPaaS platform.
  • Ability in API architectures, authentication, and data transformation.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar analysis tools.
  • Very good ability to structure, document, and follow up on work.
  • Ability to work independently both strategically and operationally.
  • Broad analytical ability and good problem-solving skills.
  • Desire and ability to learn new technical areas with a high degree of independence.
  • Pedagogical, unpretentious, and enjoys creating and developing contacts within your field.
  • Very good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
  • Very good ability to listen to and capture needs and challenges in operations within the integration area.
  • You are solution-oriented and have the ability to find ways forward in complex challenges.
  • Meritorious experience from the public sector or politically governed organization.

Employment Terms

Type of Employment: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01.
Working Hours: Daytime.
