Skaraborg Regiment is developing its current signals security organization to handle new NATO COMSEC signals security equipment, keys, and regulations. Therefore, we are recruiting for a new position focused on NATO COMSEC.

Main Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the NATO COMSEC FACILITY at the regiment.
• Serve as NATO CRYPTO CUSTODIAN.

Other Duties

• Support the Signals Security Officer with other signals security tasks.
• Support the Security Officer with other security-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Trained Signals Security Officer according to the Total Defence Signals Security School.
• Good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
• Driver's license, class B minimum, for manual transmission.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, can work independently, and take personal responsibility. You should be meticulous, flexible, have analytical skills, and be easy to work with. You should also be stress-resistant and service-oriented.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Merits

• Trained CRYPTO CUSTODIAN according to the Total Defence Signals Security School.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces and its organization.
• Experience working in the field of information security.
• Experience working in ISUS.
• Trained card administrator/key administrator.
• Served in a military staff.
• Completed compulsory military service.

Other Information

The position is located at the regimental staff in Skövde. The employment is a civil permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Periodic evening and weekend duties may occur, also outside of Skövde. We apply individual salary setting.

Skaraborg Regiment (P 4) operates from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The command is located in Skövde, where the majority of conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, will lead large parts of the army's units.
