Do you want to empower Swedish businesses with smart technology? We are looking for a skilled software developer who wants to help us create cloud-based solutions and make bookkeeping both simple and fun for businesses across the country. This position can be based at our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö and is part of our SpeedLedger Team.

As a Software Developer at Spiris, you will

• Maintain, improve, and implement exciting changes in our popular economic platform, SpeedLedger.
• Develop microservices and applications in Scala, Node, and React in a modern environment running on Kubernetes in Amazon Web Services.
• Collaborate closely in an agile and international team with colleagues in both Sweden and Lithuania to take the product to the next level.
• Explore and implement new technologies where we use artificial intelligence as a natural lever in our daily development work.
• Contribute to our strong tech community through hackathons, tech talks, and dedicated professional development time.

What we believe you can and have done

The most important thing for us is that you have strong drive and a desire to develop fantastic products that create genuine customer value. With that said, we believe certain parts are important for us to be a good match.

• Extensive knowledge of programming and building backend systems, with a focus on Scala or Java in agile development environments.
• Knowledge of, or a genuine interest in, learning more about artificial intelligence and modern development tools.
• Since our team is international, you must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with React, TypeScript, or databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Post-secondary education in software development or related fields.
