About the role:

Our client develops advanced IoT-based parking technology used by parking companies, property owners, and retail actors across Sweden. Through cameras, edge technology, and AI, vehicle movements are analyzed in real-time, creating valuable insights for everything from retail and property management to EV charging and logistics. The company is now taking its next big step – rebuilding the entire platform from the ground up with AI as a central part of the development work.

As a Fullstack Developer, you will become part of a small, experienced, and high-performing development team building the next generation of platform for parking, mobility, and data-driven services. On top of the platform's API and data layer, internal work tools, administrative interfaces, customer portals, dashboards, and various product flows will be built. The role primarily focuses on TypeScript and React, but you will also work with API integrations, simpler backend development, data models, authentication, testing, and deployment.

AI is a natural part of the development process and is used actively to accelerate development, create smarter workflows, and enable rapid innovation. Here we are looking for you who see AI as a natural tool in your daily work.

Responsibilities

• Build React-based applications, views, and reusable components.
• Develop forms, tables, dashboards, and operational workflows.
• Integrate frontend applications with the platform.
• Contribute to simpler TypeScript/Node.js backend.
• Work with roles, permissions, and different user groups.
• Write and maintain automated tests.
• Troubleshoot issues throughout the flow from user interface to API.
• Document features and technical solutions.

We are looking for you who:

• Have a good foundation in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Understand web development, HTTP, and how frontend communicates with an API.
• Have basic experience with Git and structured development work.
• Have experimented with AI-driven development work and modern AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or similar.
• Have the desire to write tests and troubleshoot issues, not just implement the first working solution.
• Have a solid portfolio of hobby projects to showcase, which we would like you to attach to your application.
• Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

It is an advantage if you have any of the following:

• A post-secondary education from a university college, university, or higher education institution in system development, computer science, or a corresponding field.
• Node.js
• Fastify, Express, or similar backend frameworks
• OpenAPI or generated API clients
• PostgreSQL and basic data modeling
• Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, or other cloud platforms
• Docker and CI/CD
• Authentication and role-based access control
• Testing tools for frontend and backend
• Data visualization, dashboards, or internal administrative tools
• Design systems and reusable component libraries
• Python
• Interest in IoT and edge

About the employment:

This is a direct recruitment, which means that Friday handles and is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by the client company.

• Salary: Market-based base salary and participation in an options program.
