Our client works with advanced development and manufacturing. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consultant role and have experience in embedded systems development. As a developer within embedded systems, you will work at the client's site developing advanced embedded software in a high-tech environment.

This role includes:

• Programming and development of embedded software for control systems and electronics in the client's products
• Implementation, testing, and debugging of software on microcontrollers and embedded platforms (e.g., in C/C++)
• Integration of software and hardware, including work with sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces for real-time and safety-critical systems
• Optimization of performance and reliability in embedded systems to meet high demands for safety and functionality
• Documentation of software design and code, as well as participation in code reviews and quality assurance according to industry standards

Your background

• University degree or Master of Science in Engineering in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar, preferably with a focus on embedded systems
• At least 4 years of experience in software development for embedded systems, such as embedded applications or firmware development
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ and hardware-near programming; experience with real-time programming and debugging in embedded environments
• Experience collaborating with electronics/hardware teams and understanding how software and hardware interact in complex systems
• Advantageous with knowledge of real-time operating systems, communication protocols for embedded systems (e.g., CAN, SPI, UART), and experience from the aerospace/automotive industry or other regulated environments

About the assignment
