Description

Göteborgs Stads Leasing AB is growing and developing. We are now strengthening our IT and digitalization function with three new employees, including one Project Manager for IT and Digitalization, to meet the contemporary need for user-centered and customer-friendly solutions.

Here, you will become one of five members in the IT and digitalization function, led by a responsible team leader. As the Project Manager for IT and Digitalization, you will contribute to the successful implementation and completion of system rollouts and other digital development projects. You will work closely with digitalization business developers, IT architects, IT administration managers, and IT technicians.

The IT and digitalization function, together with business development, communication, and environment and sustainability, forms one of six teams within the Business Support department. All employees in this cross-functional team are independent specialists who lead their work autonomously within their respective areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

As the Project Manager for IT and Digitalization, you are responsible for leading and coordinating IT and digitalization projects, such as system rollouts and service development, throughout the entire project lifecycle – from investigation and feasibility studies to implementation and handover to administration.

• You drive the work on needs, requirements, and prioritization in collaboration with the business units.
• You lead the project organization and report regularly to the steering group and project owner.
• You ensure that activities and tests are carried out in the correct order and that dependencies, risks, and deliveries are handled structurally.
• You monitor the project's deliveries, quality, and goal achievement.
• You coordinate all perspectives within the business, with a special focus on customer focus, as well as GDPR and information security.

In this role, you build and develop close collaborations with the business, IT, customers, and suppliers to create successful implementations and sustainable solutions. You support and contribute to change management with new roles and ways of working. A key focus in the work is to ensure that project deliveries are based on customer needs and contribute to high user value and customer satisfaction.

Göteborgs Stads Leasing is facing several system rollouts. An initial project will likely involve leading the work on the City of Gothenburg's new leasing system.

We believe you are an experienced project manager with experience leading development projects with many stakeholders. You are comfortable making decisions, handling goal conflicts, and navigating an organization with multiple business areas.

You can analyze complex issues, identify risks, and find sustainable solutions. You enjoy the intersection of people and technology and have the ability to weigh business, technical, and economic perspectives in your decisions. You are pedagogical, have strong collaborative skills, and adapt quickly to different work groups and situations. You are confident, unpretentious, and independent in the project manager role.

Qualifications

To apply for the position, you must have:

• A university degree in IT, systems science, business development, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in project management (+ selection question regarding number of years).
• Documented experience in project leadership (+ selection question regarding number of projects).
• Experience with the PPS project model or equivalent.
• Good understanding of business processes and change management.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Certification in project management.
• Experience from the public sector.
• Experience with procurement according to LOU (Public Procurement Act).
