About the role
We are currently looking for an Equipment Mechanic for a government agency in Gothenburg! In this role, you will work practically with vehicles, responsible for the installation, dismantling, and restoration of equipment. Duties include, among other things, dismantling specific equipment when vehicles are taken back to restore them to standard condition for sale, as well as installing equipment upon delivery.

You will also work both inside and around the vehicles with technical installations and various types of vehicle adaptations. The role is hands-on, requiring you to independently perform work related to equipment in and on vehicles.

Please note that the agency conducts security-classified operations, which means the assignment cannot begin until background checks and registry checks for the final candidate have been completed and approved.

Assignment period and scope:
The position of Equipment Mechanic is a full-time consultancy assignment starting immediately, after you have undergone and passed a security interview and registry check, and is expected to last for 12 months.

Requirements for the position:

  • Upper secondary education or equivalent.
  • Good technical understanding of vehicle-related equipment and electrical competence corresponding to the assignment.
  • Good knowledge and interest in cars and vehicles.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Experience working with vehicle electricity and technical installations in vehicles.
