We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a leading Swedish technology company with a global presence. Here you work with advanced, society-critical systems – with a focus on backend and cloud-based solutions in technically challenging environments.

The position is a direct hire, which means that the recruitment process takes place through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client.

About the role:

This is a role for you who wants to work close to the technology – and help build robust systems from the ground up.

You will:

• Develop and design scalable backend systems
• Work with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Build and improve CI/CD flows and automation
• Work with system integration and architecture
• Be involved in the entire development chain – from design to operations

We are looking for you:

An experienced backend developer or cloud engineer who thrives in complex technical environments.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in software development
• Strong competence in backend and system design
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Git and modern development methods
• Relevant university degree

Meritorious:

• Experience with API development, integrations, and databases
• Experience from regulated or security-critical environments
• Experience with Java, Go, C++, Python, or .NET
