Do you want to develop apps where user experience is at the center? We are currently recruiting app developers on behalf of Compileit who want to create digital products for some of Sweden's most well-known brands.

About the role

As an app developer at Compileit, you will become part of a product development team where you work closely with other developers and share responsibility for the product as a whole.

Compileit was founded by developers Isak Utegård and Jonathan Ortheden with the vision of creating digital products focused on the end user. Since its inception, the company has helped build some of the world's most downloaded apps and today develops digital products and AI solutions together with clients such as Swish, SkiStar, ICA, and Barncancerfonden.

The company works closely with its clients and is often involved from early idea stages all the way to the finished product. This means you will have the opportunity to influence both technical decisions and product development. Compileit is not tied to a specific platform or technology, but chooses the tools that best suit each product and situation.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Turn ideas and designs into polished app experiences with high quality in every detail
• Develop applications that are fast, stable, and optimized for real-world usage
• Actively work on performance and how apps behave in practice
• Ensure seamless integration with the backend and a robust overall solution
• Contribute to technical decisions that shape both architecture and user experience
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and clients throughout the entire development process

We are looking for someone who has

• 1–3 years of experience in app development
• Experience developing apps or interactive products with high demands on user experience
• Good understanding of how apps function in practice, such as app lifecycle, state management, performance, and responsiveness
• Experience working closely with design or translating UI/UX into finished user experiences
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with cross-platform development
• Experience with native development
• Knowledge of or interest in Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design
• Experience in product development where user experience has been a central part of the work
