We are looking for a Software Developer who wants to work with the development, configuration, and integration of runtime platforms in technically advanced Linux environments. You will become part of an experienced team where quality, collaboration, and long-term perspective are in focus.

Here you will work in complex projects where you follow the development from design and implementation to delivery. The role gives you the opportunity to work close to the system's core and contribute to solutions used in safety-critical and technology-intensive environments.

About the Role

As a developer within RunTime, you work with the development, configuration, and integration of a runtime platform in various projects. The role is broad and varied, combining software development with configuration, integration, and automation in Linux environments.

A large part of the work involves developing scripts and automating processes with Python and Bash, as well as ensuring that different system components work together. You work with debugging, integration, and optimization of complex systems where stability and quality are crucial.

Depending on the project, you may also work with:

• system and network configuration
• APIs and integrations
• security and hardening, e.g., SELinux
• user management
• some frontend-adjacent development

The role suits you if you enjoy working broadly within technology and appreciate variation in both tasks and technical challenges.

The work takes place primarily on-site in client-close and security-classified environments, which means that business travel may occur.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have at least five years of experience in software development and good familiarity with working in Linux environments.

We believe you have experience with:

• Linux
• Python and/or Bash
• scripting and automation
• configuration and integration of complex systems
• debugging in environments with many dependencies

Experience with C or C++ is meritorious but not a requirement, as it normally constitutes a smaller part of the role.

You likely have a university or civil engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent, or you have built up equivalent competence through work experience.
