About the role

As a Software Engineer, you will become part of a team of approximately 18 people, where you will jointly develop and adapt software solutions to meet the business needs of customers. The role operates in a consultant-like manner, meaning you will work closely with customers within the aviation industry. You need to be able to understand their challenges, analyze requirements, and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.

The work consists of a combination of analysis, development, and advisory services. Approximately half of the role involves analyzing customers' needs and business processes, while about one-third focuses on development. The remaining part involves guiding customers and contributing technical expertise throughout the delivery process. It should be noted, however, that every project has its own character, and thus the role may vary depending on the customer and needs.

You will work in agile teams together with experienced colleagues and have great opportunities to influence both solutions and working methods.

Examples of tasks

• Analyze customers' businesses and identify technical solutions based on their needs.
• Develop and further develop software solutions in Python and RAVE.
• Work with SQL for database management and data analysis.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of customer-adapted solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers and act as a technical advisor throughout the development process.

We are looking for someone who has

• 3–5 years of experience in software development.
• Very good knowledge of Python.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience working closely with customers or in a consultant-like role.
• A technical higher education or university degree in, for example, computer science, software development, or similar.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience from the aviation industry or other mission-critical industries.
• Knowledge of additional languages in addition to Swedish and English.
