Build the next generation of AI solutions – from idea to production

AI is changing how organizations work, make decisions, and create value. However, moving from experiments to scalable AI solutions in production remains one of the biggest challenges for many organizations.

Are you tired of AI getting stuck in steering groups and processes? Or tired of building smart demos without being able to take them all the way to robust production for the customer? Accelerate sits in a sweet spot between the muscle of a large corporation and the pace of a startup. You will work with customers and assignments that require seniority, responsibility, and secure delivery, but within an organization where decisions are made quickly and where you actually get to influence direction, best practices, and how we build AI solutions over time.

We are now looking for a Lead AI Architect who wants to design and build modern AI solutions, from idea and proof-of-concept to stable systems in production.

In this role, you will work with

• AI agents and autonomous AI systems
• LLM-based applications and AI-driven services
• RAG architectures and knowledge-based AI solutions
• Integration of AI into business processes and existing systems
• AI solutions used in production by leading organizations

Your Role
As a Lead AI Architect at Accelerate, you work both close to customers and strategically. You drive Accelerate's technical shift within AI, from competence development and architecture principles to concrete deliveries for customers.

You set the technical direction, establish architecture principles, and ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and sustainable over time. The role involves close collaboration with both development teams and the business, where you act as the technical leader in AI initiatives from idea to production.

You work both strategically and hands-on, helping organizations make the right technical decisions regarding how AI should be implemented in practice.

You have the ability to choose the right level of AI, from simple rule-based solutions to advanced LLM architectures, based on business value, risk, and cost.

What you will do

• Participate in and drive customer dialogues and workshops to identify AI opportunities
• Establish architecture principles, patterns, and best practices to ensure long-term sustainable AI solutions
• Guide development teams and act as a technical sounding board for architects, tech leads, and sales in AI-related matters
• Design and establish MLOps/LLMOps architectures for secure, traceable, and scalable AI in production
• Work with lifecycle management of models and prompts in environments with high requirements for quality and control
• Act as an AI evangelist and mentor driving the competence shift towards AI
• Contribute to packaging and productizing Accelerate's AI offering

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have experience taking AI solutions from design to production and who are accustomed to carrying technical responsibility in complex environments. You thrive in a consultancy role where you work closely with both technology and business.

You are comfortable in the role of technical leader and have the ability to set direction, make architectural decisions, and guide development teams.

Experience working in regulated, public, or security-classified environments is highly meritorious as it is often a prerequisite in our assignments.

We believe you also have experience with:

• Python and backend development
• LLM-based systems and agent frameworks
• RAG architectures and vector databases
• Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• MLOps or LLMOps, CI/CD, and container technology

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

Meritorious

• Experience taking architectural responsibility in AI or data platforms, and experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric
• Experience balancing innovation with requirements for security, law, and information classification

Location
Accelerate has offices in several locations in Sweden and Norway. For this position, you will be based at our office in Gothenburg, with the possibility of hybrid work.
