We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a leading Swedish technology company with a global presence. The position is a direct hire, which means the recruitment process takes place through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client.

About the role:

We are looking for you who thrive close to the technology and who have a strong foundation in software development, with a focus on embedded systems and C++.

You will work with the development of complex systems where quality, performance, and longevity are at the center. The role may vary depending on the assignment and competence, but often includes:

• Software development in C++ for advanced systems
• Work with embedded-near solutions and system development
• Design and implementation of robust software solutions
• Work with CI/CD, automation, and modern development flows
• Collaboration with architects, systems engineers, and development teams in cross-functional environments
• Participation throughout the entire development chain, from design and implementation to testing and maintenance

We are looking for you:

With a solid background in software development and a desire to continue developing in technically complex environments.

Requirements:

• Relevant higher education or university degree
• Several years of experience in software development
• Good knowledge of C++
• Experience with embedded development or system-near software
• Experience with Git and modern development methods
• Ability to work independently in complex technical environments

Meritorious:

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Java, Python, Go, or .NET
• Experience with system design and software architecture
• Experience with safety-critical systems or the defense industry
