As a Technical IT Strategist with us, you will be a key person in the work of building, automating, and maintaining the future identity and access platform for employees and students of the City of Gothenburg.

You will collaborate closely with our Identity and Access teams and contribute to ongoing initiatives to create more flexible, automated, and high-performing solutions.

You will work with:

  • Developing the unit's infrastructure within identity and access, together with the Operations team.
  • Managing cases classified as 3rd line cases within IAM, together with the Operations team.
  • Troubleshooting and finding solution proposals for incidents and problems within IAM.
  • Handling different types of 'requests' and 'changes' within IAM.
  • Following up and developing proactive measures within IAM.
  • Analyzing and resolving security risks within IAM.
  • Participating in pre-studies and assignments within IAM.
  • Documenting knowledge articles within IAM.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university education focused on IT infrastructure or equivalent experience that we assess as comparable. You have a few years of experience in IT operations and maintenance, and you have worked with support, operations, and maintenance in companies/organizations with an organizational structure consisting of several subsidiaries/departments and many system dependencies. You must have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

In the role of Technical IT Strategist, you have experience with:

  • Infrastructure, operations, and maintenance.
  • Monitoring of environments.
  • Management of IT services.
  • Case management in ServiceNow or similar.
  • Application support.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Identity and access management.
  • Powershell.
  • Large, complex organizations/large complex architecture.
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

As a person, you take initiative, start activities, and achieve results whether you work alone or with others. You have a strong commitment and enthusiasm for your work. As part of the team, you drive issues forward and contribute to the development of our solutions. Furthermore, you are motivated by learning new things and developing yourself. You bring new ideas and take initiative for improvements. You actively monitor the external environment within your professional field and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your operations.

An important part of your personality is that you are skilled at collaborating, where you listen, are humble, communicate, and solve problems that may arise. You are skilled at communicating and adapting your message to the recipient, both in speech and writing.

As a Technical IT Strategist with us, it is important that you can efficiently identify and analyze the core of a problem and suggest possible solutions. You have the ability to see connections and draw logical conclusions based on limited and/or complex information.
