About the role:

In the role of Function Developer with our client, you will work on developing software functions for hybrid powertrains consisting of internal combustion engines and battery systems. You will become part of a team of approximately 20 people, where you will have the opportunity to develop alongside experienced colleagues. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in programming and model-based development. You will be responsible for implementing functions, analyzing large amounts of data, and contributing your expertise to the development of future control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software functions for hybrid powertrains.
• Collect, analyze, and structure measurement data to evaluate and improve functions.
• Work with model-based development using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Implement and further develop functions using Embedded Coder.
• Program and automate workflows in Python.
• Collaborate with experienced function developers and calibration engineers throughout the development process.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university or civil engineering degree in fields such as mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Has experience with programming through studies, projects, or thesis work.
• Has prior experience working with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Has basic knowledge of Python.
• Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in the work.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with Embedded Coder.
• Knowledge of embedded systems or model-based development.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client's site.
