We are now looking for an experienced Test Lead who wants to take on the challenge of leading a team of test engineers in the integration and verification of future active and passive safety systems for passenger cars. This includes functions within systems such as airbags, seatbelts, and control systems.

Your future challenge

In the role of Test Lead, you are responsible for leading the test team in its daily test activities, communicating with stakeholders, and monitoring schedules and processes. The team is responsible for integrating and verifying mechatronic solutions that contribute to a safer environment for drivers, passengers, and other road users. You will lead the team and also hold the role of Product Owner for testing and validation of the system. Your communication skills will be crucial to the team's success.

Experience working with active and/or passive safety, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), or fully autonomous systems, as well as associated electronics and software stacks, is a prerequisite for success in this role. You need to have practical experience with verification and validation to be able to support the team with testing if needed.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, data science, mechatronics, or software development.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in testing, both manual and automated testing.
• At least 3 years of experience working with advanced driver assistance systems, autonomous systems, or other relevant mechatronic systems and components.
• Leadership experience from roles such as Test Lead, Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
• Programming skills in languages such as C/C++ and Python.
• Excellent communicator, with numerous examples from previous roles.
• Fluent in English and Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Experience working in a global environment with colleagues and customers from around the world.
• Available for on-site work in both Gothenburg and Vårgårda.
