About the role

We are Gothenburg! We are now looking for you who want to take a central role as a Solution Architect in various assignments and development projects, such as the procurement of new and existing IT systems used by the entire City of Gothenburg. You will belong to a unit with various architect roles that serve as support to projects and assignments, where your focus will be on solution architecture.

You will also participate in work regarding common issues concerning architecture work.

Your focus will be on services within the areas of document management, HR, finance, decision support, automation, case management, and information management.

Examples of tasks and responsibilities:

• Act as the responsible solution architect in development and procurement projects.
• Serve as the communication channel for technical questions between the project, supplier, and customer.
• Manage functional and non-functional requirements/dependencies for central IT systems in the City of Gothenburg.
• Ensure quality of documentation and information.
• Participate in the preparation work for incoming needs and development proposals.
• Lead workshops with both business and IT experts as participants.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university-level education in the IT field or equivalent competence acquired in another way, as well as a few years of relevant professional experience as a solution architect in a large organization. You have experience from leading technical roles in procurement projects. You have good knowledge of different types of models and frameworks within the field of solution architecture.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have experience in information governance and document management.
• Are a certified IT architect.
• Have worked with IT within the public sector.

As a person, you are unpretentious, have good collaboration skills, and can lead others in your work. You are accustomed to driving your work independently and have a developed analytical ability where you are skilled at making trade-offs and finding solutions to move forward in your work. You are technically interested, with a greater focus on the whole rather than the details, and you understand the interplay between IT solutions and our customers' businesses.
