The Municipal Executive Office is responsible for supporting operations in finance and quality, HR and communication, digitalization and development, law and security, democracy and administration, contact center and events, as well as growth and business. Together, we support the municipality's operations, handle strategic assignments, and provide service to our residents.

The Role Involves

We are in the midst of an exciting digitalization journey where we use modern technology to streamline working methods and develop the municipality's operations. Through digitalization, we improve accessibility and service for residents, business owners, and visitors. The growing need for stable IT support means we are now strengthening our capabilities in system administration.

We are looking for an Object Manager for the communication object.

As Object Manager for digital development, you are responsible for driving and coordinating projects within the business area, as well as ensuring that digital support is available and creates value for our operations. You develop and implement plans for the further development and administration of IT components, in close collaboration with the object control group, object owners, system specialists, and IT object managers.

Examples of tasks include:

• Formulate an administration plan for the object based on identified needs and overarching strategies, together with the IT Object Manager
• Overall responsibility for coordinating the operation's need for IT support and ensuring that existing support is useful, current, and relevant, as well as ensuring compliance with laws and guidelines
• Prioritize, decide, and execute within the framework of the administration plan
• Ensure support and user assistance
• Create decision-making materials and follow up in relation to economy and budget work
• Manage supplier contacts and contract follow-up

The position is located at the central unit Digitalization and Development in Skara, but you will work for all V6 municipalities (Lidköping, Skara, Vara, Götene, Grästorp, Essunga) and the shared system landscape.

The area currently handles several systems that support our communication processes and the digital workplace. The assignment involves planning, coordinating, and supporting both internal and external communication to ensure smooth, inclusive, and clear information dissemination to citizens, employees, and other stakeholders.

You are communicative, skilled in change management and collaboration, and have the ability to motivate and engage others. Your understanding of the human aspects of digital development allows you to balance technology with user needs. Qualifications

• Relevant university education in systems science, the communication field, or another direction deemed relevant by the employer
• Competence in object management/system administration
• Knowledge of business development supported by digitalization
• Knowledge within the communication field
• Knowledge within Microsoft 365
• It is also positive if you have experience with: budget work, cost monitoring, contract management, and collaboration between municipalities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
