We are looking for a Senior DBA (Database Administrator) with expertise in SQL Server and PostgreSQL who wants to work with business-critical systems in a security-sensitive IT environment with high demands for stability, performance, and availability. The role is based in Stockholm and involves working with operations, troubleshooting, and optimization of large database environments in production.

You will become part of a technically advanced team where you will work with large-scale databases, take significant responsibility, and contribute to developing and improving existing solutions.

In the role of Senior DBA, you will work with:

• Operations and management of SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Troubleshooting in production environments, including L3-level incident management
• Ensuring high availability, performance, and stable operations
• Work with clustering, redundancy, and databases in large-scale environments
• Collaboration with other IT teams and support levels
• On-call duties and standby as part of the role

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least five years of experience as a DBA or Database Administrator
• Experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL in operations and production
• Experience with large database environments with many instances or databases
• Strong competence in troubleshooting, incident management, and IT operations
• Experience working in operations organizations, such as L2 or L3 support
• Ability to work independently with significant responsibility
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with both SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Experience from banking, finance, or other regulated IT activities
• Knowledge of scripting such as PowerShell or Bash
• Experience with Linux, especially in PostgreSQL environments

You will become part of a specialized DBA team with a high technical level where the work is characterized by significant personal responsibility, technical focus, and high demands for quality and security. The role is based in Stockholm with approximately four days per week in the office and involves working in a regulated environment with clear processes.
