About the Workplace

Lenhovdaskolan is a grades F-6 school without parallel classes. The workplace is located in Lenhovda, and the school is reachable by car in approximately 30–35 minutes from Växjö and within 40 minutes from several towns in Kronoberg. This offers good commuting opportunities.

Job Description

We are looking for a PE teacher. The position involves teaching physical education and health in all classes at the school. The role also includes responsibility for daily scheduled recess activities. In this role, you are responsible for communicating and coordinating outdoor days/sports days as well as swimming lessons that take place outside of school. You will have close collaboration with colleagues.

As a teacher, you contribute to developing the school's pedagogical activities. The work consists of planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching together with the work team, based on our steering documents and the organization's goals.

It is important that you are open to meeting the school's changing needs for leadership in teaching. Since the school is relatively small, you are expected to support colleagues and view it as a natural part of the school's daily routine to adjust the day-to-day operations as needed to meet emerging requirements.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who have teacher certification with eligibility for teaching in physical education and health.
