We are looking for an After-School Club Leader at Maria After-School Club

Maria After-School Club is seeking a dedicated and responsible employee with experience working with children aged 9–12.

This is a fixed-term position for the autumn semester of 2026, involving 22.5 hours per week. There is an opportunity for extension after the semester ends, depending on the needs of the operations and the composition of the staff group.

The employment begins on August 10, 2026. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period, which means the position may be filled before the final application deadline.

About the Operations

Maria After-School Club is an after-school program for students in grades 3–6. Here, children have great freedom to choose activities based on their interests. Every day we offer a wide range of activities, including:

• Creative activities
• Sports and play
• Music
• Film workshop
• Video games
• Table tennis and billiards
• Computer activities
• Theater
• And much more

In different parts of the operations, staff work with specialized competencies within their respective fields.

Maria After-School Club has been in existence for over 40 years and operates in the premises of Mariaskolan on Södermalm in Stockholm. We have approximately 360 registered children aged 9–12.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience working with children aged 9–12
• Are confident, responsible, and positive in interactions with children
• Have good collaboration skills
• Are proactive and can contribute to a meaningful and developmental after-school program
• Share our view on children's right to a safe, fun, and developmental leisure time

About the Employment

• Fixed-term position during the autumn semester of 2026
• Scope: 22.5 hours per week
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Extension possible
