Do you want to help make wood and metal crafts the highlight of the week for students? As a teacher in Wood and Metal Crafts (TM-slöjd) at Kyrkskolan in Nynäshamn, you will teach students in grades 3–6, where curiosity is high and the desire to create is even higher. The position is 60%, giving you room to combine the job with other aspects of life – or another role.
You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in wood and metal crafts, focusing on both creativity and safety in the craft workshop. You work closely with colleagues in various subjects, participate in team work, and contribute to developing teaching so that all students have the opportunity to succeed.

What We Are Looking For
To succeed in the role, you have:
- A teacher education with a focus on crafts, preferably wood and metal crafts, equivalent to at least 180 HP.
- At least 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary school.
- Good knowledge of workshop safety and routines regarding materials and machinery.
- Good ability to use digital tools in planning and documentation.
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
The following are meritorious:
- Experience working in municipal primary schools.
- Experience working with extra adaptations and differentiated teaching.
- Interest in sustainable development, reuse, and modern materials.

You are clear and confident in the classroom, while also having patience when things do not go as planned. You are creative, solution-focused, and see challenges as something you solve together. You value collegial learning, are happy to share ideas, and are equally open to receiving tips from others. Above all, you are passionate about giving students a safe, fun, and educational time in the craft workshop.
