About Us

Do you want to work in a small, family-like preschool where closeness to nature, movement, and engaged parents are at the center? Then this might be the job for you!

Slåttet Preschool is Mora's oldest parent cooperative, located in Noret, close to Mora Hospital, the shopping center, and the forest. The preschool operates in a villa with a large garden that serves as our preschool yard. There is also a playground just outside the gate.

Our child group consists of 22 children in a secure and homely environment with high staff density and close collaboration between educators and parents.

The preschool has a Christian profile that aligns with the preschool curriculum and value base. We celebrate the major holidays of Christmas and Easter.

We believe it is important for children to spend a lot of time outdoors, which usually happens several times a day. By moving around a lot and eating healthy, home-cooked meals, we give children the opportunity for a healthy start in life! The preschool has a cook who plans and orders food, which parents pick up from the store. When the mood strikes, the cook prepares food at our grill area.

One day a week during the winter half-year, we have gymnastics. During the summer, we go to the forest and hold activities there!

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified preschool teacher.
• Has experience working in preschool activities.
• Is well-versed in the preschool curriculum.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Can provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record).
• A driver's license is an advantage.

As a preschool teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing the education based on the preschool curriculum. You work together with engaged colleagues to create a secure, creative, and educational environment for the children. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you are confident, responsible, and have a warm approach towards both children, guardians, and colleagues.

Employment Conditions

• Work percentage: 80%
• Monthly salary
