Are you our new employee?

Älvdalsskolan is a comprehensive school (Grades F–9) with approximately 370 students, and we are now looking for you who want to teach German in Grades 6–9.

Responsibilities

In your role as a pedagogical professional, you are responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the goals set out in the governing documents. Your tasks include planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical work together with your colleagues, with the student at the center. You are responsible for developing and adapting learning environments that support, stimulate, and challenge children's and students' learning in relation to the organization's goals.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a good ability to establish and maintain relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have a positive view of students and high confidence that all students can develop as far as possible. You involve students and give them influence over the teaching. You plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and are well-versed in governing documents and work based on them. You are open-minded, innovative, and dare to look at your work from the perspective of research and proven experience to challenge yourself and others. You are clear and receptive in your communication and accustomed to adapting your communication style to the situation. You are also positive and solution-focused, and have the ability to create engagement and joy in work.

You have a teaching license with qualification to teach German.

You communicate easily and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
