Olympica operates preschool and primary school activities in several locations in Dalarna. Olympicaskolan in Hedemora is a primary school with approximately 200 students attending from preschool class to grade 6. We prioritize high quality and always strive to ensure our students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. We have a clear values-based work and profile our school with a greater focus on sports, play, and movement.

About the position

As a teacher, you are a good leader with a clear pedagogical leadership style that radiates security and confidence. You will be the class teacher for one of our classes in grade 5, and will be part of and develop the team for grades 4-6. Teaching may also take place in other classes.

Your main task as a teacher is to be responsible for the students' learning and development through teaching, guidance, and support. You use methods, content, and interaction based on each student's abilities and prerequisites so that students reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. We have worked together to create routines and rules that provide security for both students and educators. At the school, we use lesson observations where you receive help from 10 dimensions of learning processes in teaching. You document, follow up, and evaluate your teaching.
