Job Responsibilities

You will teach mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology in grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your teaching in relation to student learning and the school's governing documents. The role includes creating a safe and stimulating environment for our students. In your work, you are expected to use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching. The role also includes being a mentor, which means supporting and coaching students in their development, conducting development conferences, and maintaining close dialogue with guardians and students. You will be part of subject teams and working groups with good opportunities for individual development and collegial learning. Within the subject team, there are excellent conditions for collaboration and development within the subject and teaching methods.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Teacher certification with eligibility in mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology for grades 7-9. For this position, you may be considered eligible even if you hold a teacher certification with subject eligibility for lower grades than advertised, provided you are willing to further educate yourself in the relevant subject(s). If employed, a further education plan will be created together with the hiring manager, where education is a part of and included in the position.
• Familiarity with current governing documents.
• Good digital competence.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience working with students in need of adjustments and special support in teaching.
• Experience in pedagogical development work.

Terms of Employment

Permanent full-time employment with start date 2026-08-10.
