Teacher for Tunets School in Borlänge

Tunets School is an F-6 school with approximately 160 students, located on the outskirts of Borlänge. The school enjoys a beautiful natural setting with fantastic nature nearby, inviting outdoor activities and sports such as skiing and ice skating.

Job Responsibilities

You will work as a teacher in grades 1–3 based on your qualifications for grades F–3, where the main task is to plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching. You document and provide feedback on knowledge development to students and guardians through development conferences and follow-ups. It is important that you create security and study peace in the group.

As a teacher, you have individual responsibility for a class in the lower primary school but also collaborate with the F–3 work team and other colleagues at the school. You work collegially and contribute to driving school development with the students' best interests in mind.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Licensed teacher for grades F–3, with education in basic reading, writing, and mathematics learning.
• Proficiency in the Swedish language at a high level, as clear communication is of great importance in teaching.
• Experience working in schools, with an understanding of the assignment and the challenges the school faces.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and being well-versed in what this entails.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Driver's License Category B.
