Responsibilities

The responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching for the subjects included in the position, both individually and in collaboration with colleagues. You adapt the teaching based on the student's needs, prerequisites, and previous experiences. You systematically monitor the students' knowledge development, document progress, and keep guardians informed about the student's development.

You are responsible for maintaining a good overview and care for students' school days and social situations in collaboration with colleagues, guardians, authorities, and other key contacts around the student. In consultation with the student health team, you work to ensure that relevant measures are implemented for students in need of additional support.

Other duties associated with the position may include mentoring duties, recess supervision, ordering teaching materials, and pedagogical lunches.

The position is for 80% of a full-time role.

Qualifications

We place great emphasis on pedagogical leadership in the classroom and are looking for you who are an engaged, clear leader with an approach that combines clarity with responsiveness. You are secure, stable, and have the ability to build good relationships with students, ensuring they feel seen, affirmed, and believed in. You also have a good ability to build trusting relationships with guardians. Experience in pedagogical situations is a merit.

You have good knowledge of national curricula and the ability to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and the individual to provide good conditions for students' knowledge development. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and take the initiative to collaborate with others. You have a professional approach, and your work is characterized by well-founded ethical values.

Additional Qualifications:

• A teaching license is required for a permanent position.
• Experience in teaching is meritorious.
• You must be able to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• You must have sufficient IT skills to handle the systems and digital tools required for the role.
