Our 5 preschools and 4 schools are distributed in the towns of Idre, Särna, and Älvdalen.
Strandskolan is a grades F-9 school located in central Idre, close to the mountains, lake, and forest. Approximately 140 students attend our school. We have many elements of outdoor life in our teaching, such as mountain hiking, skiing, and overnight stays outdoors in winter. The school sports association is very active, and we participate in RF-SISU's Movement Initiative.
Are you our new employee?
What you will be working with
As a teacher substitute at Strandskolan, you coordinate the substitute needs together with the work team in school and after-school care every morning, and then work as a substitute. As a substitute, you work based on a finished lesson plan, but you need to be prepared to make your own decisions and/or replan.
Who are we looking for?
To thrive in this role, you adapt easily to changing circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and in varying tasks. You work well with other people and create engagement and involvement. You plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks efficiently.
Your base is at Strandskolan, but you are not hesitant to take assignments at Buskoviusskolan in Särna if needed.
We are looking for you who have experience working with children and students of different ages, preferably with experience from school and/or after-school care.
We prefer that you have teacher education.
A driver's license for a car is meritorious.
Good to know
An extract from the criminal record is required.
