At the Introduction Programme (IM), several of our staff members have extensive teaching experience, and you will be met by qualified teachers and knowledgeable personnel. Collegial work focused on the student's educational goals is at the forefront, where mentorship and student health services are key components of our operations. The teaching has a special pedagogical character and challenges students based on their individual needs and prerequisites.

The IM consists of four programmes with different purposes and partially different content. What they all have in common is that they prepare the student for further studies or facilitate establishment in the labour market. The programme currently has 150 students and 24 staff members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher of Swedish as a Second Language, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in work teams, subject teams, and the student health team.

The position includes mentorship, where you follow up on students' knowledge development towards the programme's goals, preferably with a coaching approach. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, as well as assessing students' knowledge. The majority of your assignment will be at the language introduction for newly arrived youth, where you teach students in groups and provide individual guidance. Follow-up of conversations with students, guardians, and other key functions is an important part of the job.

We value good IT skills as our students have their own computers for their studies. Unikum and Teams are used in daily work. QUALIFICATIONS

Basic requirements for the position:

• We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified to teach Swedish as a Second Language for grades 7–9.
• Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Special education competence in Swedish as a Second Language.
• Experience teaching in primary and secondary school.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, start date: 2026-08-11, end date: 2027-02-25.
Working hours: Daytime.
