Mathematics Teacher at Forssaklackskolan

Forssaklackskolan is a school with approximately 460 students. We are organized into three work teams led by an assistant principal. The work teams are characterized by an enabling and supportive climate with a high degree of self-determination regarding issues such as student responsibility, planning, and resource usage. We have an organization that promotes quick decision-making processes, which benefits the students' knowledge development.

The school also has a work team dealing with practical issues such as substitute teacher recruitment, purchasing, IT, and premises. We also have an additional work team working with values and student health issues.

At Forssaklackskolan, we prioritize collegial learning, which permeates both work teams and subject teams.

Over the past few years, together with the students, we have developed a clear lesson structure that we all follow.

From autumn 2025, we have also chosen to have three full-time mentors as support for our students and as a complement to our educators.

From the spring semester of 2027, we will move to completely new, large, modern premises.

We are looking for an engaged mathematics teacher.

With us, the students' curiosity, creativity, and desire to learn are at the center. We are now looking for a full-time mathematics and English teacher who wants to help create an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.

As a teacher with us, you teach mathematics and are an important part of the students' development, both academically and as individuals. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching with a focus on sparking engagement and motivation in every student.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teacher education with eligibility to teach mathematics.

Very good oral and written skills in Swedish.

You must be able to document based on the existing systems and follow and support our students' knowledge development.

Meritorious qualifications:

Experience working as a teacher.
