The Bjursås School District is now seeking substitute teachers who wish to work within the school district, covering Bjursåsskolan grades 7-9, Bjursåsskolan grades F-6, Grycksboskolan grades F-6, and Sågmyraskolan grades F-6.

Within the school district, we strive to provide every student with the conditions necessary to develop as much as possible. We aim to create a school environment where students experience safety and well-being, and feel trust in the adults around them. Through purposeful and systematic work with student health, we promote health and prevent illness. To enable development and strengthen community, we continuously work with collective learning.

Job Responsibilities

As a teaching substitute, you are responsible for replacing regular teaching staff during absences. Assignments may include individual lessons, full school days, or longer substitution periods. In most cases, you lead the teaching independently based on the planning provided by the regular teacher. The position as a substitute teacher involves working both independently and in collaboration with the school's other staff.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
  • Completed upper secondary education

Employment Terms

Contract: Hourly employment

Start date: By agreement. Interviews and selection are conducted on an ongoing basis.

To obtain the position, you must present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record), which will be requested if the employment becomes relevant.
