Domarhagsskolan is a 7-9 school located in central Avesta Municipality. We are located next door to Karlfeldtgymnasiet and share some facilities with them. We currently have 320 students at the school. We have a special education group and an Adapted Primary School 7-9, as well as a middle school section with four parallel classes. This autumn, we will also launch the municipality's emergency school.

The staff at the school are dedicated and work in accordance with the jointly developed game plan. Professionalism, respect, and courage are three key words there. The concept #activekindness guides us in our goal-oriented and promoting work for safety and study environment. Based on this, we have also chosen to be a mobile-phone-free school.

As a school warden with us at Domarhagsskolan, you are an important person working with both preventive and corrective student work. You need to have personal maturity, relationship-building skills, and the ability to create a safe environment for teenagers during their middle school years.

The role of school warden acts as a link between students, teachers, and student health services, with a focus on being available outside the classroom. You work closely with the school mentors as well as the student health services. Your duties include, among other things, creating safety in the school's common areas. You should be able to build positive and trusting relationships with students aged 13–16, prevent conflicts, harassment, and exclusion through early interventions.

The role also involves activating students during breaks and encouraging a meaningful leisure time. Depending on student flow, other pedagogical tasks may also be included.

Start date: 2026-08-10 or as agreed.
