We are looking for someone accustomed to working with the children's needs at the center and teaching in a way that allows all children to participate in the instruction. You are digitally savvy and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. The work may involve travel between schools, so access to a car and a driver's license is required.

It is important to be able to collaborate with other people, build relationships, and maintain connections with colleagues, management, guardians, and children. Having a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and people's different prerequisites, as well as being able to express yourself simply, well-formulated, professionally, and engaged in meetings.

In this role, it is important to be independent, collegial, and have a positive attitude in your work, as well as working according to the organization's goals. It is included to engage in the entire school's operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you work as a resource in the classroom, as a teacher in the after-school program (fritidshem), as a house substitute, and work at different schools may occur, as well as work in individual or smaller teaching groups. We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility and be part of all tasks in the smaller school. The format of the schools requires a flexible working style and that you easily adapt to the needs of the day.

The position includes varied tasks such as substitute teaching, working as a resource in the classroom, outdoor activities, recess supervision, physical education initiatives, homework help, and transitions to after-school activities. The position involves working with students who have special needs; experience in this area is considered an asset.

Workplace

The schools included in the principal's area are Sollerö School (Grades F-6), Vika School (Grades F-3), Venjan School (Grades F-6), and Morkarlby School (Grades F-6). The schools vary in size, and there are many opportunities for engagement in the development of the operations. The schools are characterized by joy and cooperation. Value-based issues and work with leadership and stimulation are the foundation of our work for equal value for all. The location of the schools offers opportunities to be outdoors frequently. Students and staff work together, and the schools have preschool classes and after-school programs in the same premises or school area. The staff is solution-focused and constantly works for equal education. The schools have access to smaller sports halls, craft rooms, and have a cafeteria and kitchen. Travel to other schools occurs for certain teaching in crafts, music, home economics, physical education, and language choices.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree as a teacher, a degree as an after-school teacher, or other relevant education or experience. You need to have experience working with adaptations and experience working with children who have special needs. Personal qualities are seen as important in the selection process.
