Your role
The position is a full-time temporary assignment in German and Swedish during the academic year 2026-2027. In addition to teaching, the role includes participation in program and subject group work, as well as other pedagogical processes regarding our students to strengthen well-being and learning. The position includes mentorship.
Your qualifications and experience
At Blackeberg Gymnasium, every student should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. To succeed in this, we are looking for you who:
- Are qualified to teach German and Swedish at the upper secondary level.
- Have good insight into students' knowledge development and adapt teaching to their conditions and needs, while working systematically with formative and forward-looking feedback.
- Have a good ability to awaken and strengthen students' curiosity, motivation, and desire to learn, and meet them with high and clear expectations for their development.
- See mentorship as an important part of the teaching profession and actively work to create safe learning environments, good relationships, and the community that is the foundation for students' well-being and learning.
- Use digital tools as a natural support for learning.
- Are confident in your professional role, communicate clearly and solution-focused, and have good collaboration skills.
- See collegial learning as a natural part of the profession, take responsibility for your own development, and actively contribute to the school's joint development work.
As a newly graduated teacher, you are entitled to a mentor during your first year, the induction period.
The position may be taken over by surplus staff in the city.
Interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
