The Maxillofacial Surgery unit is co-located with Orofacial Medicine/Hospital Dental Care and Dental Radiology at Falu Hospital. We are a referral center and receive patients via referral from general dental care and healthcare, of all ages and varying health statuses.

Nearly 50 people work here, and the reception is currently staffed by three people. Our working hours are daytime on weekdays.

The reception is shared by Maxillofacial Surgery, Orofacial Medicine/Hospital Dental Care, and Dental Radiology. Cases are handled for all three units. As a receptionist, you are the first person patients meet during a visit. You register arriving patients before their visit and are also the person who collects payment after the visit. You handle matters related to a patient visit, such as booking interpreters, patient transport, visit certificates, etc. TeleQ and phones are staffed by the reception. Here, patients are booked, rescheduled, and cancelled. At times, there is a lot happening simultaneously.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, is stress-resistant, and can juggle multiple tasks at once. You should be good at collaborating and prioritizing. Meritorious experience includes previous work in reception, customer service, service industry, dentistry, or healthcare. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written Swedish.
