Our Workplace
At our offices in Avesta, Borlänge, and Mora, approximately 130 employees work together. We offer local and digital services to job seekers in the county who have a significant need for support, as well as to employers interested in broadened recruitment.

Job Description
As an Employment Advisor, you will have job seekers and employers in focus, and you will be an important support for them, making a difference every day. A central part of the job is to inform and communicate about the Swedish Public Employment Service's mission, services, as well as rights and obligations. The role requires curiosity and pedagogical skills to make the complex simple.
We are looking for you who thrive working closely with people who, for various reasons, find it difficult to enter the labor market. Your tasks will include mapping job seekers' competencies, opportunities, and driving forces to help them find, keep, or return to employment. The work may also include guidance, educational initiatives, developing job search strategies, and collaboration with other societal actors.
The role also involves public authority duties in the form of decision-making related to the activities and measures we use to help people towards work or studies. You are expected to stay updated on the labor market and employers' recruitment needs.

What We Offer
The position is a permanent full-time role, which may start with a six-month probationary period. The location of employment is Avesta or Mora.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- University/college education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits under the previous system)
Alternatively
- You have been employed as an Employment Advisor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good prerequisites for meeting today's requirements for Employment Advisors
And
- At least 2 years of work experience, combined work of at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years
- Very good knowledge of Swedish
- Category B driver's license
Other Merits for the Position
- Experience of public authority duties within a municipality or state agency
- Experience of work with labor market-oriented rehabilitation
- Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, complementary actors, and healthcare institutions
