EcoDataCenter builds and operates the next generation of sustainable data centers, a critical infrastructure that enables digital development while minimizing our climate footprint. Behind every new facility, investment, and customer deal lies extensive financial work where structure, control, and follow-up are crucial for sustainable growth.

We are now looking for an Accountant who wants to take an active role in the continued development of the finance function. This is not a traditional accounting role in a mature organization where processes are already set. You will join a company with a high growth rate, ongoing construction projects, and several parallel operations where the finance function needs to continue evolving alongside the business.

For the right person, this means an opportunity to combine classic accounting work with the development of processes, systems, and ways of working in a rapidly changing business.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for parts of the ongoing accounting and contribute to project accounting and follow-up. You handle and support accounts payable, perform account reconciliations, and analyze financial results. Furthermore, you are responsible for preparing VAT and tax returns and, if necessary, liaising with the Swedish Tax Agency.

You participate in monthly and annual financial statements and actively contribute to developing and improving accounting routines and processes. The role also involves acting as a financial support to the business and different parts of the organization. As the organization is in an expansion phase, high demands are placed on your flexibility and ability to quickly reprioritize, as both internal and external tasks arise continuously. In addition, you participate in the work to develop and streamline financial processes and system support.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education in economics/accounting or have acquired equivalent knowledge in other ways. You have at least three years of experience from a similar role and feel confident in the various parts of accounting work. If you have previous experience from the construction, real estate, or contracting sectors, as well as an understanding of the construction process and project accounting, this is considered an advantage.

The role requires that you have good knowledge of Excel and can communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to contribute to the team and the business as a whole. It is also an advantage if you have a technical interest and an understanding of the business behind the numbers.

Furthermore, we view it positively if you have a genuine interest in developing and improving system and process support within finance, with a particular focus on automation and AI. Experience with the business system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, as well as knowledge of Rillion and Capego Bokslut/Skatt, are considered advantageous.

If you also have experience working in a fast-growing and technology-intensive business, as well as with group structures or working with multiple companies or units, this is a plus. We also value an interest in developing and streamlining ways of working, as well as the ability to identify and evaluate system solutions that can improve and streamline the business.
