About the Role

Do you want to make a difference for our students and create a love for learning through music? Here you will have the opportunity to work in a school characterized by safety, participation, and development. We are looking for an engaged and creative music teacher who is passionate about meeting students with different prerequisites, with a special focus on children with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD) and students from adapted primary school. Here you will become an important part of a warm and engaged team where collegial learning and support from the student health team are a natural part of everyday life. We offer you good opportunities to influence and develop music teaching as well as contribute to the school's cultural and values-based work.

Responsibilities

As a music teacher here, you plan, implement, and follow up on music teaching for students in grades 4-6 in accordance with the curriculum. You are responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop both their musical abilities and their creativity. The role includes adapting teaching based on students' individual needs, with a special focus on students with NPD, as well as creating structures and predictability that support their learning. You collaborate closely with colleagues, special education teachers, and the student health team and actively contribute to the school's joint development and values-based work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an engaged and clear educator with the ability to create good relationships and meet each student based on their unique prerequisites. You have a creative way of working and see possibilities in every student's development. To succeed in the role, it is important that you can adapt your teaching to promote students' goal achievement and that you have a genuine interest in working with students in need of special support. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

To thrive and succeed in the role as a music teacher here, we see that you:

• Are a certified music teacher for primary school, preferably for grades 4-6
• Have experience or a special interest in working with students with NPD and intellectual disability (ID)
• Have a good ability to adapt teaching to students' needs
• Are clear, flexible, and relationship-building in your way of working
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to contribute to an inclusive learning environment
