Glänningeskolan was inaugurated in 2019 and is one of two F-6 schools (grades 1-6) in central Laholm. We have lovely premises that invite learning on all levels. Our fantastic schoolyard and surrounding nature, with both forest and lake, offer great opportunities for play and outdoor pedagogy. Here at Glänningeskolan, you become part of the team! There are 370 students at the school, of whom 200 are enrolled in the leisure center.

About the Position

Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a safe, learning, and developmental environment at our school. As a teacher, you conduct varied teaching and find strategies to reach every student, strengthening them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

Your duties include planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work based on the school's guiding documents, the student's needs and interests, both individually and together with the team. You collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment for students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work.

If you are a recent graduate, you will receive a 10% reduction in teaching hours to allow time for reflection and meetings with a mentor. As an employee of Laholm Municipality, you have access to a personal computer, further education, and wellness benefits.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You who apply for the position have teacher certification to teach grades 1-6 in Mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology. Having certification in multiple subjects as well as English and Swedish as a Second Language (grades 4-6) is an advantage. You are well-versed in the school's guiding documents and have a good ability to individualize and vary teaching to create a desire for learning.

As a person, you are responsible, secure, and clear in your professional role. You always have the student's best interest at heart, and your perspective is characterized by respect for the individual and their needs and conditions. You easily create good relationships with our students and colleagues. Your genuine belief that all students do their best when they can is crucial. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
