WORK ASSIGNMENTS

We are looking for a teacher for our operation adapted for students with significant needs related to NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and long-term school absence. The program affiliation is the Individual Alternative (IMA) of the introductory programs.

The teaching is based on relationship-building and individual-strengthening work, as well as a perspective of fostering independence in relation to the student's developmental needs. The teaching at IMA is almost exclusively concentrated on the primary school subject plans up to grade 9, but individual students may need to be taught at the upper secondary level.

You clarify the goals of the teaching and communicate them in an understandable way to the students, while simultaneously assessing their goal fulfillment and assigning grades according to the curriculum.

You build strong relationships with the students and have regular contact with guardians to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Through collaboration with school leadership and colleagues, you contribute to creating a positive school environment where students thrive, develop, and reach their goals. You actively participate in various collegial contexts where you both share and develop your subject knowledge as well as your pedagogical and didactic skills. To thrive in the role, it is important that you actively participate in the subject group's work and appreciate collaborating with colleagues, students, and other staff at the high school. Together, you work to create the best conditions for each student's success.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified high school teacher in mathematics for grade 9. Experience working with students with significant support needs, experience with "Flex"-like operations, and/or experience teaching in groups with students with significant needs related to NPD.

You use digital tools naturally in your teaching and planning and see them as a natural part of your pedagogical work. You are motivated by supporting others' learning and create good conditions for knowledge development. With your pedagogical skill, you explain content and contexts in a clear way, adapted to different individuals and perspectives.

You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement in the classroom. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating to achieve common goals. You thrive in teamwork and see the value in working together for the students' best interests. Your commitment and ability to build good relationships contribute to a positive and respectful work environment. You inspire and capture interest in the subject through clear and engaged communication. Flexibility is one of your strengths. You adapt quickly to changed conditions and have a structured, goal-oriented way of working. At the same time, you are open to trying new methods and approaches.

You have a very good ability to listen and show respect for others' perspectives, which creates security and cohesion in the work group. You also see challenges and mistakes as a natural part of the learning process. You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are proactive and act responsibly based on what the situation requires.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
