About the Position

Hishult School is the small school with close and good cooperation where everyone takes good care of each other and helps out in big and small matters; a solution-focused approach defines us.

Hishult School, grades F-6, has approximately 95 students, of whom approximately 50 are enrolled in the after-school center Kantarellen. Here you work in beautiful indoor environments, and there are good opportunities for outdoor pedagogy in the surrounding areas.

The after-school center participates in a municipality-wide development work aimed at a common and deeper understanding of the mission and as equal education as possible for our students.

You will, together with educators at the after-school center, organize a learning, developmental, and meaningful leisure time for the students. Together with the work team, you plan the activities based on the curriculum and follow up on and evaluate the quality of the after-school activities. You work daily to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for our students and work with all common tasks associated with the teaching profession.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are primarily looking for you who are a certified teacher in after-school centers, alternatively a certified preschool teacher/recreation pedagogue, or equivalent higher education that the employer finds suitable.

You should be a natural leader who creates interest, engagement, and participation for our students in the after-school center. We expect you to be well acquainted with the school's governing documents. It is natural for you to have a salutogenic and relational approach and to meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. You have strong drive and engagement and are good at building good relationships. You are passionate about after-school center activities, want to make a difference, and contribute to the students' learning throughout the entire school day.
